Information we process
We process the Google account details you choose to share during sign-in, such as your name, email address and profile image. We store articles, AI-generated drafts, brand profile details, uploaded images, approval decisions and scheduling metadata you add to your workspace.
Connected social accounts
When you connect Instagram, Facebook Pages, LinkedIn or X, we process the authorized account identifier, display name or username, profile image where available, granted permissions, encrypted access tokens and token expiry details. For Instagram we request basic professional-account access and permission to publish your content. For Facebook Pages we process the authorizing Facebook account identifier, managed Page identifiers, names, Page tasks and encrypted Page tokens. We request permissions to list authorized Pages, read Page content and publish Page posts. Facebook personal-profile timeline publishing is not supported. We store publishing container identifiers, post identifiers, timestamps and error status to complete requested posts and avoid duplicate publication. These integrations do not read private messages, comments or audience analytics.
How information is used
Information is used to provide and secure your workspace, operate requested product features, troubleshoot problems and improve the service. SnapScheduler does not sell personal information.
Publishing and image delivery
Connecting an account does not publish content. Publishing requires an explicit action after review and approval. Uploaded images are stored privately; when you request Instagram or Facebook Page publishing, we provide Meta with temporary signed download links so it can retrieve those images. Anyone possessing such a link can retrieve its image until the link expires or the image is removed. An optional Facebook source-link preview sends the selected article URL to Meta. A scheduled date currently records a plan and does not trigger automatic publishing.
Service providers and AI
Google provides sign-in. Our hosting and database infrastructure stores workspace data. When you request AI generation, the source article, brand instructions and relevant draft text are sent to OpenAI to perform that request. Instagram and Facebook authorization tokens, account data and publishing receipts are not sent to the AI provider. Meta, LinkedIn and X receive the content and authorization information needed for publishing you request. These providers also have their own privacy policies.
Retention and deletion
We retain workspace information while needed to provide the service or until you request deletion. Disconnecting Instagram or Facebook Pages in SnapScheduler removes that saved connection and its credentials. A verified deauthorization or data-deletion callback for either integration also clears its associated provider-derived publishing metadata from our active database, including receipts from previously disconnected accounts. Instagram and Facebook callbacks are handled separately. We retain a limited security/deletion receipt, containing a keyed account hash, request hash, status and dates, for 90 days after completion; it contains no raw account identifier, profile or token. A failed deletion request stays pending until resolved. Your separately authored articles, captions and uploaded images remain until you remove them or request workspace deletion.
Your choices
You can disconnect a social account in Settings → Social connections, remove images from drafts, delete articles, or contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your workspace data. We may ask you to verify account ownership. Deletion from SnapScheduler does not remove content already published on a social platform; manage that content on the platform itself. Restricted backup copies, where present, may remain until their retention period ends and are not used to operate the service.
Cookies and security
We use session and short-lived authorization cookies to keep you signed in and protect account connections. Access to workspace data is authenticated and scoped to its owner. Social tokens are encrypted at rest and connections use HTTPS. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection.
